Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Chuck leads Christ Lutheran Church with a deep love for Jesus and a heart for people. Through his sermons, midweek reflections, and Theology in Ten video series, he makes faith approachable, relevant, and alive in everyday life.
Rev. Chuck Shingledecker accepted our call to become our pastor in May of 2022. His first worship service with us was on July 17th.
He believes church isn’t about having it all together — it’s about being honest with God, receiving grace, and walking the journey of faith together. Whether he’s preaching on Sunday, visiting with members, or sharing a message online, Pastor Chuck points us back to the hope we have in Christ.
"Why does Jesus matter? Of all the religions on earth, of all possible paths of salvation, what sets Christianity apart? The answer is the Incarnation. The Incarnate God who manifests God’s love for all of creation, through Christ on the Cross, is the center of all that exists. When looking at people around the world through the lens of Christ on the Cross we become more aware of Christ’s love for all people. If we interpret the world in the light of the Cross theology becomes practical. What we believe about God is lived out in how we live and care for our neighbors. And when we begin to see the world as God sees it, we can become moved to fulfill God's purposes in the world."

Baptism
Baptism is a gift of new life — a promise from God that we are His beloved children. Whether for infants, children, or adults, we celebrate this sacred beginning of faith together as a community.
Weddings
Marriage is a holy covenant, and we are honored to walk with couples as they begin their life together. At Christ Lutheran, weddings are more than ceremonies — they are a celebration of God’s blessing on your love and commitment.
Funerals
In times of loss, we gather to grieve, remember, and hold on to the hope of the resurrection. Our services honor your loved one’s life while reminding us of Christ’s promise: “I am the resurrection and the life.”
